- India signed an interim agreement to confirm commitment to work on the mega astronomy project, Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO).
- SKAO is proposed to be the world’s largest radio telescope, which will be established in South Africa and Australia.
- The agreement will be valid only for one year.
