- The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) declared the Aravalli Biodiversity Park in Gurugram, Haryana as India’s 1st ‘other effective area-based conservation measures’ (OECM) site on the occasion of World Wetlands Day (2nd February, 2022).
