UPSC

About the Examination

Civil service, which is the backbone of Indian governance constitutes all ministries and their departments. The Civil service and Forest service exams are conducted by the UPSC. The prestige, power, charm and responsibility that come along with the top jobs such as the IAS, IFS, IPS, etc., are a definite reason for anyone to choose Civil service and Forest service a career option.

The UPSC exam is generally considered the hardest in the world. Over 500,000 candidates apply each year and compete for less than a thousand seats. That is 0.2% success rate. With odds like that an IAS aspirant needs the best guidance possible. And this is exactly what we envisioned when we founded Aspirant IAS institute for Civil Services Coaching.

Aspirant IAS is a dedicated online platform initiative by experts who have years of experience in mentoring students who aspire for Civil Services in India. Given the expansion of Information and Communication Technology, students are no more required to come out of their homes in scorching heat and stay in congested P.Gs. Online learning can be the answer to a lot of your ills and it could even fix problems you didn’t even know you had.

Since the UPSC exam is ever evolving, we have a dynamic course structure and teaching methodology that aims at building up candidates’ intellectual strength and flexibility so that he / she can attempt even the most difficult and unconventional question be it at the preliminary or mains level.

The UPSC exam has changed a great deal in the past 10 years. Questions earlier were more factual and descriptive. That meant that large volume of rote learning (‘Ratta’ in colloquial terms) was sufficient for cracking the exams. Today however, questions are a lot more analytical and opinion based. This means that candidates must have excellent understanding of fundamentals and firm conceptual grasp over the subject to excel. Moreover they also need to possess the intellectual flexibility to interpret tricky questions and answer them correctly. These qualities of conceptual soundness, intellectual clarity and improvisation are the things we focus at in our services.

Every aspirant is unique individual who needs stimulating atmosphere in which they can learn, improve, gradually evolve and finally compete. It is our desire as an educator to help students to meet their fullest potential by providing an environment that is designed to face the emerging challenges of their career.
Aspirant IAS is such platform where a candidate can get guidance and resources for civil services and state services preparation.
